Pac-10 Bowl Picture

Don't expect Cal's bowl picture to clear up this weekend. The Arizona/Oregon State and Stanford/Cal games will help narrow things down. However, the Oregon/Oregon State game will be the key. If Cal wins out and Oregon State beats Oregon then the Bears will be tied for third place with Oregon (and potentially Arizona). If Cal loses the Big Game the 6th place Hawai'i Bowl is a very real option.

Notes: Maybe they are not 100% done. They play UCLA this week which is very winnable. If they beat UCLA then a win over Arizona will put the Sun Devils in a bowl game.

Big Game is big for Stanford

Notes: The Big Game will have meaning this year for both teams. Stanford wins and they go to a bowl game. Cal wins they can upgrade bowls and more importantly keep Stanford from going to a bowl.

The much anticipated Apple Cup is just days away. Fox Sports Net got it right when then picked up this game over Stanford/Cal and Oregon State/Arizona. The reason this game is so special is that it will tell us who the worse team in the history of college football.
