  Overview

Offense:

The Huskies return sophomore quarterback Jake Locker who rushed for a Pac-10 record 986 yards in his freshman season.  Locker also three for 2,062 yards and 14 touchdowns. Husky fans have high hopes for Locker in his 2nd year, the one problem who when he is not carry the ball who is he going to hand the ball off to...better yet who will he throw to?  The Huskies must replace their starting running back and 5 receivers.

Defense:

The front four looks to be an area of focus in 2008.  Washington returns just one lineman who made any impact in 2007.  They do have a solid group of linebackers and secondary returning.

Special Teams:

Washington returns both their kicker and punter.

Overview:

Most teams would love to have a quarterback like Jake Locker, he can run and he can pass.  However, the one problem with the Husky offense is they lack experience at the other skilled positions.  Defense should be fine if they defense line can hold its own.  Tyrone Willingham must deliver in his 4th season as his failure to turn things around in Seattle has placed him the Husky Dawg house (cheesy enough???).
