Stadium Overview:

Atmosphere:

The atmosphere makes it a great place to watch a college football game.  If you can get past the powder blue that the UCLA fans wear to games, they are much more enjoyable of an enjoyable group to be around than Trojan fan.

Student Section:

I am not too familiar with the UCLA student section since I have never sat closer than 100+ yards.

Visitor Section:

The atmosphere in visitor section when Cal is in town is great.  The view from the visitor section is not great.  Because the facility is so large you feel far from the action.

Location:

The Rose Bowl is located in an excellent location, though it is a 30 minute drive from the UCLA campus.  Parking is not too much of an issue since the adjacent gold course doubles as a parking lot for UCLA home games.  The one issue with the stadium is the traffic.  Getting in and our of the Rose Bowl can take some time since access is limited to several small neighborhood streets.

History:

The Rose Bowl is very rich in history.  It is the venue that all Pac 10 teams want yearn to play during January.  The Rose Bowl has also been the host of Super Bowls and of course host the Rose Bowl game.

Overview:

The only downside is getting in and out of the parking lots.  Other than that this a great venue.  I am looking forward to watching Cal play a game here during the month of January.
